Product Description

ARA Anti Rutting Asphalt Additives are essential materials for asphalt road projects, designed to enhance the surface performance of aggregates. It effectively resists road ruts and significantly extends the service life of long-life asphalt pavements.

ZTA-RA is directly added into the asphalt mixing plant. It improves both high-temperature and low-temperature performance of the asphalt mixture. By mixing directly with aggregate and bitumen, it enhances dynamic stability, water stability, and durability while improving anti-aging properties.

💡
Key Innovation: It can be added to Gap Graded Asphalt Mixtures as a replacement for SMA, eliminating the need for extra fibers and SBS, while decreasing bitumen usage and improving intensity.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: How is the ARA additive added to the asphalt mixture?
A: It is a ready-to-use product that is dosed directly into the pugmill of asphalt mixing plants during the production process.
Q2: What is the recommended mixing temperature?
A: The typical asphalt mixing temperature when using ARA is 175ºC ± 5ºC.
Q3: What is the suggested dosage of ZTA-RA?
A: The standard dosage is 0.2% - 0.4% of the total mass of the asphalt mixture. Specific engineering needs may vary.
Q4: Does using this additive require special modified bitumen equipment?
A: No. One of the main advantages is that it integrates the modification and mixing into one process, eliminating the need to lease or purchase modified equipment.
Q5: Can it be stored for long periods?
A: Yes, ZTA Anti-rutting additives are stable and can be conveniently stored at room temperature without special climate control.
Q6: In which road layers is ARA typically used?
A: It is mainly used in the middle, upper, and lower layers of asphalt pavement construction, especially for heavy-duty traffic areas.
