Hot Dip Galvanized Welded Pipe
Hot-dip galvanized pipe involves reacting molten metal with an iron matrix to produce an alloy layer, ensuring the matrix and coating are tightly combined. The process includes pickling to remove iron oxide, followed by cleaning in an aqueous solution of ammonium chloride or zinc chloride before entering the hot-dip galvanizing tank. This method offers uniform coating, strong adhesion, and an extended service life.
Available Types: Type F, Type E, and Type S (Grade A and Grade B). Standards include ASTM A53, A500, A252, A795, BS1387-85, GB/T3091, ISO R65, and API 5L.
