The system utilizes a flexible temperature detection cable connected to a control panel. When temperatures reach 180ºC (or 138ºC), the cable sends a signal to the panel, activating a solenoid valve. The fire agent is then discharged through pipes and nozzles. Simultaneously, a fire alarm is triggered, and a signal is sent to the vehicle controller to shut off the engine.
