Overburden Casing System (also known as Eccentric Casing System) is the professional choice for drilling water wells, geothermal wells, short micropiles, and medium mini-type grouting holes for buildings and diamond harbor projects.
The Eccentric system represents the most economical solution available. Its ingenious reaming wing design allows the bit to be retrievable, meaning it can be reused for the next hole, significantly reducing operational costs.
During drilling, the reamer bit rotates out to enlarge the hole sufficiently for the casing tube to slide down behind it. Once the required depth is reached, the drill pipe rotates in the reverse direction, causing the reamer bit to retract. This allows the entire drilling system to be pulled back through the casing.
