Overburden Casing System, also named Eccentric Casing System, is an ideal solution for drilling water wells, geothermal wells, short micropiles, and medium mini-type grouting holes for buildings and diamond harbor projects.
Economy: Eccentric systems are the most economical solutions because of the ingenious reaming wing. The bit is retrievable and can be used at the next hole, significantly reducing operational costs.
Working Principle: When drilling, the reamer bit rotates out to enlarge the hole sufficiently for the casing tube to slide down behind the reamer. Upon reaching the required depth, the drill pipe drills in the reverse direction, causing the reamer bit to retract. This allows the entire drilling system to pass through the casing.
