Product Description
Overburden Casing System, also named Eccentric Casing System, is suitable for drilling water wells, geothermal wells, short mircopiles, medium mini-type grouting hole of building, and diamond harbour projects.
Economy: Eccentric is the most economical solution because its ingenious reaming wing bit is retrievable and can be used at the next hole.
Working Principle
- When drilling, the reamer bit will rotate out to enlarge the hole enough for the casing tube to slide down behind the reamer.
- When reached required depth, the drill pipe will drill in the reverse direction and the reamer bit will retract.
- This allows the whole drilling system to pass through the casing.
Competitive Advantage
- High grade tungsten carbide inserts.
- Bit bodies manufactured from high grade steel processed using state-of-the-art CNC machinery and heat treatment.

Product Variants & Design
Drilling Process Steps
- A: Reaming sleeve opens, increasing borehole range for casing tube.
- B: After drilling overburden layer, reverse circulation causes reaming sleeve to retract.
- C: Casing remains in borehole to prevent collapse during pipe pull-out.
- D: Regular bits continue drilling to required depth in rock stratum.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What is the main application of the Overburden Casing System?
A: It is primarily used for drilling water wells, geothermal wells, short micropiles, and grouting holes in building or harbor projects.
Q2: Why is the Eccentric Casing System considered economical?
A: Its reaming wing bit is retrievable, allowing the system to be reused for subsequent holes, which significantly reduces costs.
Q3: What materials are used in the construction of the bits?
A: We use high-grade tungsten carbide inserts and bit bodies manufactured from premium steel through CNC machinery and heat treatment.
Q4: Can I request specific colors or designs for the products?
A: Yes, we provide different face designs (Flat, Convex, Concave) and button shapes, and color can be requested as per customer needs.
Q5: What are your quality inspection procedures?
A: We implement a 100% strict inspection and testing protocol for every order before it is packed for shipment.
Q6: How is after-sales service handled for quality issues?
A: We provide free replacements if any problems are caused by our product's quality.
