Eccentric Casing System Structure
Operating Principle
1. When drilling starts, the reamer swings out and reams the pilot-hole wide enough for the casing tube to slide down.
2. At the required depth, rotation is reversed, the reamer swings in, and the bit assembly is pulled up through the casing.
3. Casing tubes left in the hole are sealed at the bottom using cement grout or other agents.
4. Drilling continues to the desired depth using conventional tools.
